# Add New Datacenter

To create Datacenter, click to **Devices** on the left pane and then choose **Datacenters**.

On Datacenters screen, click **Add (+)** button on the right top section.

1\.      Enter a **Datacenter name**. This is just a friendly name for datacenter. Giving a unique name is not a requirement.

2\.      Select **Visibility** from your organization list.

3\.      Add a **description**. Description for the datacenter. This is an extra explanation area for device group.&#x20;

4\.      Status of Datacenter. If you make it **Disabled**, then the Datacenter **will not** be visible in Filters. You can change Datacenter status to **Active / Disabled** anytime.
