# Assign Member

## Manual Assigning 

This option is available when **query based is not selected.**

To assign **members** to Device Group, you will see **Cluster Members** and **Server Members** on Device Group entry.

1\.      To assign a cluster or server, go to **Devices > Device Groups**, Click on buttons to **Cluster Member or Server Members**.

2\.      Choose the members you want from the Members field, then click **">>"** to move it to the Enabled member field and then click the **Submit** button. Now the module will be assigned to that server. To **remove** an enabled member, click on the member, and then click the **"<<"** button. Available and Selected areas can be filtered.&#x20;

3\.       Click the **SUBMIT** to apply changes.

## Query Based Assinging

This option is available when **query based is selected.**

1\.      To assign a cluster or server, go to **Devices > Device Groups**, Click on buttons to **Cluster Query or Server Query**.&#x20;

2\.      Enter your query and click on **Submit** button to apply changes.
