Change Service User
When you install VirtualMetric, you enter a user account to use for task scheduler operations. If you select to use Active Directory authentication to monitor servers, VirtualMetric uses this user account. If you need to change this user account or update account password, please open Task Scheduler to do changes.
1. Right click on VirtualMetric Trigger and click End from menu.
2. Click Yes to confirm dialog.
3. Right click on VirtualMetric Trigger and click Properties from menu.
4. Click on Change User or Group… button.
5. Type new user account name, click on Check Names and click on OK to close dialog.
6. Click on OK to apply changes.
7. Type password of user account and click on OK to close dialog.
8. Then right click on VirtualMetric Trigger and click Start from menu.
9. VirtualMetric Trigger will connect to VirtualMetric API and start monitoring in a few seconds.
