# Filtering Rules

General rules can be created and then include or exclude servers or devices.

1\.      To add a include / exclude filter, go to **Notification > Rules**, Click on buttons to I**nclude or Exclude.**

2\.      Choose the **filter type** from dropdown, then select object from **object list**. You can **remove** object by clicking on **trash icon**.&#x20;

3\.       Click the **SUBMIT** to apply changes.
