Add New User

To create a new system user, you should go to Users in the Settings tab.

1. Click to Users on the left pane to navigate to the User Settings.

   
2. On User Management screen, click Add (+) button on the right top section.

   
3. Enter user properties, then click Submit button.

   

Fields	Descriptions
Username	User will use this username to login to VirtualMetric Dashboard.
Email Address	VirtualMetric will use this email address for Password Recovery email.
First Name	First name of user. VirtualMetric will use it in notification emails.
Last Name	Last name of user. VirtualMetric will use it in notification emails.
Password	User will use this password to login to VirtualMetric Dashboard. If you select Active Directory Authentication, then you don't have to type password. VirtualMetric will authenticate this user with the Active Directory authentication.
Role	Admin: Full access on all servers and clusters. Admins can update all System Settings, Notification Rules, Device Groups etc. User: Monitoring access on selected servers and clusters. Users can not access System Settings, Notification Rules, Device Groups etc. Read Only: Access on public dashboard's.
Language	VirtualMetric will use this language for VirtualMetric Dashboard and VirtualMetric API localization.
Timezone	Timezone of the user
Status	Status of user. If you make it Disabled, then the user will not be able to login VirtualMetric Dashboard. You can change user status to Active / Disabled anytime.
